The Vice chancellor UNIZIK, Professor Charles Okechukwu Esimone made the disclosure in an address during a thanksgiving service to mark his fourth year in office , said that the University has set up a Maritime Institute in Onitsha through the intermediation of RT. HON LYNDA CHUBA IKPEAZU, Member representing Onitsha North and South Federal constituency.

Esimone says that the Institution has added eight new academic programmes to its collage of postgraduate studies.
