ONGOING: EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF THE ECOWAS PARLIAMENT.
The Honourable member representing the Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and Chairman, House Committee on Maritime Safety, Education and Administration, Barr. Lynda Chuba Ikpeazu is currently in Lome, Togo for the ongoing Extraordinary Session of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Parliament.
The Delocalized meeting of the ECOWAS Parliament is centered on the theme "Religious Tolerance and Harmony: Key Factors for Development, Peace, and Stability in the ECOWAS region".
Present at the meeting with other stakeholders from the Regional Economic Community is the Third Deputy Speaker of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Parliament, Memounatou Ibrahima.
The Honourable member has been Chairing the Committee on Telecoms and Information Technology at the ECOWAS Parliament since 2019, representing Nigeria's interest and that of the Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency.
