RT HON LYNDA CHUBA IKPEAZU sponsored the Bill for the Establishment of the Federal Medical Center Onitsha 2019 to the 9th Assembly, a Bill which successfully passed through all process as required for the passage of bill. The bill was passed by the House of Representatives on December 14, 2022 and was sent to the Senate for concurrence. The Senate subsequently granted the concurrence on January, 17th, 2023.
