THE LYNDA CHUBA-IKPEAZU SERIES 1: BULLET POINTS ON WHY HON LYNDA CHUBA-IKPEAZU IS RE-ELECTABLE

Even a perfunctory courtesy will indicate the obvious. However, after a closer examination of all the contending parties queuing for the House Of Representatives seat PDP's Hon Lynda Chuba-Ikpeazu stands taller than the rest of the other political party featherweights.

Since the inception of the House of Representatives in Nigeria's second republic, July 1979, no honorable member of note from the old Anambra State which comprised Enugu and Anambra States has rendered any statutory legislative services to the constituents than Hon Lynda Chuba-Ikpeazu, member representing Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency.

The Federal House of Representatives is one of the two Chambers that make up the Bicameral Legislature of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is made up of 360 Members representing each of the Federal Constituencies of the country.

Though the primary function of the House of Representatives is to act as checks and balances of the other arms of the government, often referred to as the oversight function ("The idea of checks and balances is a natural consequence of the separation of power and it is one of the main reasons the system was adopted. Each arm serves as a watchdog to the other arm checking its operations to ensure the constitution of the state is being abided by") Hon Lynda Chuba-Ikpeazu by sheer determination and dint of hard work overturned the fortunes of her constituents by providing what is commonly referred to as Constituency Projects in quantum in her area of jurisdiction.

I will discuss her achievements or provisions and inaccuracies of the projects she provided or failed to provide in a sectoral format that has provided compelling evidence and impetus to getting her re-elected thereby rejecting other pseudo candidates for the coveted seat of Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency in the House of representatives.
